Submission Guidelines

The guidelines for submitting your articles to Guru Articles are simple, but they must be followed!

The articles that you submit must be your own work - You may not submit articles written by other authors and the content must be unique. No rebranded articles allowed, you must be the sole copyright holder for each article you submit. Articles written by a ghost writer are perfectly acceptable as long as they are being used only by yourself.

By submitting your articles to Guru Articles, you grant us the right to publish your articles - We may publish your article anywhere on our website, blog, or syndicate through RSS. We may also change where it appears, including the category, at any time.

By submitting your articles to Guru Articles, you grant others the right to publish your articles - Other Article Directories have the right to publish your articles on their websites, in their newsletters or ezines, and more as long as the article is left in the original state. This includes the resource box which provides you credit as the author of the content.

No affiliate links! - The articles that you submit to Guru Articles should not contain affiliate links. It is acceptable, however, to mention the URL's of helpful sites or your own website which redirects to the recommended affiliate product.

Submitting your articles to Guru Articles does not entitle you to financial compensation of any kind - You will not receive compensation from Guru Articles or the users of our directory for articles you submit.

Submitting an article in no ways guarantees inclusion in our directory - We reserve the right to reject an article submission for any reason.

Articles must be spellchecked and proof read for grammatical errors prior to submitting - Do not submit articles filled with spelling errors and bad grammar. We do monitor article submissions and we will reject content that doesn't meet this requirement.

Your Artricle Title should not contain more than 200 characters - Do not use all CAPS in the title or any word in the tiitle. Capitalize Each Word In The Title. Capitalizing words like "and" and "the" is optional. It's to your advantage to make your title keyword rich so try to include your primary and secondary keywords. Do not include the title in the body of your article.

The body of your article should not contain more than five links, and none of them should be blatantly self-promotional - Do not submit articles that are less than 200 words. Articles of 250 to 700 words are a good length but don't exceed 2500 words. Remember that the purpose of an article is to provide useful information not to promote a product or service.

Your resource box should not contain more than two links - Preferably one. Avoid too much hype in your resource box. The purpose of the resource box is not to sell your readers something, but to lead them to your website which does the actual selling.

Your article summary should be one to five sentences in length - It's purpose is to briefly describe the key benefits that are discussed in your article. If you are not sure what to include in your summary, it's acceptable to use the first paragraph of your article.

Your biographical information should not be too lengthy - Two to six sentences is recommended. Maximum of four.

Use the keyword field to enter a few relevant (to the article content) keywords or phrases separated by commas - This is helpful in searches by webmasters looking for content that matches their niche.
