"Unless all items of uniforms supplied to staff carry the corporate emblem or logo, the item is not tax deductable" said Rashpal Cheema from Promotional Clothing Solutions. "Many companies get their shirts embroidered or printed with their logos, but forget about their pants, skirts and shorts. "One of the other common mistakes businesses make is when they buy high visibility shirts or tops they don't realise that if the person works outside, the shirt or top must come below the elbow to comply with safety standards" said Rashpal.
"Sometimes companies buy short sleeved high visibility uniforms because the old fabrics used to be very heavy and uncomfortable. There is no excuse not to comply with safety regulations with high visibility uniforms."
